Ro (Roman)
Ro / Roman (Ro Health, Inc.), private DTC telehealth
Evidence grade 3 of 5, Mixed. Read how the Atlas grades evidence.
The written rationale for this grade is still being prepared.

What can go wrong
As a private company, Ro's financials are not audited or publicly disclosed; cited revenue and valuation figures are third-party estimates or last priced rounds and may be stale. The prescriber-also-seller conflict applies as with all DTC platforms. GLP-1 growth exposes Ro to the same compounding regulatory risk that reshaped the sector in 2025.
This is something to take to a clinician. The Atlas can tell you what is known about ro (roman) in general. It cannot tell you what is happening in your body, and the difference matters most for exactly the symptoms that bring people to this page.
Ro (originally Roman) is a privately held direct-to-consumer telehealth company that helped define the men's-sexual-health category with its Roman ED brand before expanding into hair loss (Roman/Ro), fertility (Modern Fertility, acquired 2021), and a large GLP-1 weight-loss business (Ro Body). Its priced valuation rose from ~$5B (March 2021) to ~$7B (February 2022). Third-party estimates (Sacra) put 2024 annualized revenue near $600M, up sharply on GLP-1 growth. Ro remains private and has not disclosed audited figures, so revenue and mix estimates should be treated as estimates.
The DTC pioneer that started with the ED pill and pivoted into a weight-loss engine.
What people take it for
These are the reasons people give for taking it. They are not effects it has been shown to have.
How it is supposed to work
Same DTC subscription mechanics as its peers: online intake, affiliated prescriber, recurring fulfillment. Ro invested heavily in owned pharmacy and cold-chain logistics to support GLP-1 injectables, capturing more of the fulfillment margin as its product mix shifted from ED pills to weight-loss injectables.
What people get wrong
Often saidRo's valuation reflects current fundamentals
ActuallyThe ~$7B figure is a February 2022 priced round from the peak of the digital-health cycle. Private valuations are not marked to market and can lag reality by years.
Who profits, and who pushes back
Nobody is named here yet, because we have not done that work on this entry. Read that as unfinished. Somebody almost certainly sells this, and somebody almost certainly disputes it. Assume both until we have checked.
