What can go wrong
Attia is the materially more evidence-based actor on testosterone specifically, his advice steers away from monetizable products. He does, however, carry disclosed equity conflicts in food/supplement companies (AG1, Maui Nui, David), and ended AG1/David advisory ties in 2026.
This is something to take to a clinician. The Atlas can tell you what is known about peter attia's approach in general. It cannot tell you what is happening in your body, and the difference matters most for exactly the symptoms that bring people to this page.
Peter Attia, a Stanford-trained physician and author of Outlive, takes the most clinically conservative position among major figures. He treats symptoms over lab numbers, attributes much low testosterone to poor sleep, stress, and excess body fat, and argues that fixing those beats 'a litany of supplements with marginal benefit.' He is notably skeptical of OTC testosterone boosters, the very category most others monetize, and favors clinician-supervised evaluation when warranted.
The clinically conservative voice that steers away from OTC boosters.

What people get wrong
Often saidAll longevity influencers push supplements
ActuallyAttia is a counterexample on testosterone, he discourages OTC boosters, the category others sell. He is not conflict-free (disclosed food/supplement equity), but his T advice is not the monetized part.
Who profits, and who pushes back
Peter Attia
On testosterone specifically: UNINCENTIVIZED (sells no T-booster; discourages them). Separately holds disclosed equity in AG1/Maui Nui/David, relationships he discloses and partly ended in 2026.
