What can go wrong

Arachidonic acid is a pro-inflammatory omega-6 (caution in inflammatory conditions). Yohimbe can raise blood pressure and heart rate and is associated with serious cardiovascular events; its content in proprietary blends is undisclosed.

This is something to take to a clinician. The Atlas can tell you what is known about animal test in general. It cannot tell you what is happening in your body, and the difference matters most for exactly the symptoms that bring people to this page.

Animal Test is a bodybuilding-focused product from Universal Nutrition (family-owned, founded 1977; 'Animal' sub-brand). It is sold as a once-daily 'pak' run in 21-day cycles, built on two proprietary blends: a 'Pro-Androgen Complex' (2,500 mg; includes a stinging-nettle-derived divanillyltetrahydrofuran, cissus, trans-resveratrol, agaricus, hesperetin, yohimbe) and a 'Hypertrophic Response Complex' (1,500 mg; arachidonic acid, 6,7-dihydroxybergamottin, BioPerine). Because the blends are proprietary, individual doses are not disclosed.

A hardcore-bodybuilding 'pak' built on proprietary blends.

What people take it for

These are the reasons people give for taking it. They are not effects it has been shown to have.

  • Marketed for testosterone output, strength, recovery

What people get wrong

  • Often saidProprietary blends are 'precision-dosed'

ActuallyProprietary blends hide individual doses, so neither efficacy nor interaction risk can be assessed. No finished-formula trial exists.
