UMZU, LLC, Christopher Walker (founder/CEO)

Evidence grade 2 of 5, Thin. Read how the Atlas grades evidence.

FDA
Dietary supplement (not FDA-evaluated for efficacy)

What can go wrong

Ashwagandha at 400 mg is below the ~600 mg studied dose. The founder has a direct ownership conflict, he diagnoses the problem and sells the solution. The FDA issued UMZU a warning letter in 2022 (disease/drug claims; products including Redwood), closed out in 2024.

This is something to take to a clinician. The Atlas can tell you what is known about umzu testro-x & redwood in general. It cannot tell you what is happening in your body, and the difference matters most for exactly the symptoms that bring people to this page.

Testro-X is the flagship testosterone-support product of UMZU, LLC (Boulder, CO), founded and led by Christopher Walker, who built an audience on his personal story of raising his own testosterone after a pituitary tumor. The night-time 3-capsule label reports magnesium 150 mg, zinc 15 mg, KSM-66 ashwagandha 400 mg, boron 10 mg, Coleus forskohlii 250 mg, plus glycine, inositol, and L-theanine. UMZU also sells Redwood (a nitric-oxide/circulation product). This is a vertically integrated model: Walker sells the protocols and the supplements.

An influencer-owned brand: the founder sells both the protocol and the pills.
