What can go wrong

Prescriber-also-seller conflict applies. As with peers, the weight-management engine ties LifeMD's growth to the volatile compounded/branded GLP-1 landscape and its regulatory shifts. Public reporting makes financials more transparent than private peers, but subscription auto-refill and cancellation friction remain consumer concerns across the DTC category.

This is something to take to a clinician. The Atlas can tell you what is known about lifemd / rexmd in general. It cannot tell you what is happening in your body, and the difference matters most for exactly the symptoms that bring people to this page.

LifeMD (Nasdaq: LFMD) is a publicly traded direct-to-consumer digital-healthcare company whose men's-health brand RexMD focuses on erectile dysfunction and sexual health, alongside a growing virtual-primary-care and weight-management business. In Q3 2025 LifeMD reported total revenue of ~$60.2M (up ~13% YoY) with telehealth revenue of ~$47.3M; weight management represented over half of total revenue, and RexMD returned to subscriber growth (about 8,000 of 10,000 net new members from sexual health). LifeMD also secured approval for a 503A compounding pharmacy and became a pure-play virtual-care and pharmacy platform after divesting WorkSimpli.

The other public DTC player, where men's sexual health funds a pivot to weight loss.

What people take it for

These are the reasons people give for taking it. They are not effects it has been shown to have.

  • ED / sexual health (RexMD)
  • Weight management (GLP-1)
  • Virtual primary care
  • Men's, women's, and psychiatric telehealth

How it is supposed to work

Standard DTC subscription telehealth: online intake, affiliated prescriber, recurring fulfillment. LifeMD's strategic move is vertical integration into its own compounding and pharmacy operations to capture fulfillment margin, mirroring the sector-wide shift toward owning the pharmacy.

What people get wrong

  • Often saidRexMD is a specialized men's clinic

ActuallyRexMD is a marketing brand within a diversified public telehealth company whose largest revenue line is weight management. Sexual health is a customer-acquisition channel as much as a clinical specialty.

Who profits, and who pushes back

Nobody is named here yet, because we have not done that work on this entry. Read that as unfinished. Somebody almost certainly sells this, and somebody almost certainly disputes it. Assume both until we have checked.

Public shareholders and management; revenue from subscriptions, consults, and increasingly in-house pharmacy margin.
