Six Star Testosterone Booster

Six Star Pro Nutrition (MuscleTech / Iovate)

Evidence grade 1 of 5, Untested. Read how the Atlas grades evidence.

The written rationale for this grade is still being prepared.

FDA
Dietary supplement (not FDA-evaluated for efficacy)

Reference only. Not medical advice.

What can go wrong

Ingredients are dosed low (ginkgo notably so), and reviewers judge meaningful testosterone effects unlikely. Parent Iovate has protein-spiking and other class-action history (different products). A separate MuscleTech product (AlphaTest) was recalled in 2024-25 for a controlled stimulant (cathine), not this SKU, but relevant brand context.

This is something to take to a clinician. The Atlas can tell you what is known about six star testosterone booster in general. It cannot tell you what is happening in your body, and the difference matters most for exactly the symptoms that bring people to this page.

Six Star Testosterone Booster is the budget 'from the makers of MuscleTech' line (Iovate/Xiwang). The caplet lists a Rhodiola extract ~386 mg and boron citrate 100 mg (supplying ~5 mg boron), plus a low dose of ginkgo. It is sold cheaply (~$10-13/bottle) through mass retail and grocery. Marketing cites a '7-week human clinical study' on a plant blend plus boron research; the underlying study citations are not publicly disclosed.

The value-shelf testosterone booster, cheap, and dosed accordingly.

What people take it for

These are the reasons people give for taking it. They are not effects it has been shown to have.

  • Marketed for testosterone, strength, training performance

What people get wrong

  • Often said'Scientifically researched' equals proven

ActuallyThe cited studies are not linked to disclosed peer-reviewed citations, and the formula is dosed below efficacy ranges. 'Researched' is not the same as an effective finished product.
