What can go wrong

Iovate has a documented regulatory history: a 2010 FTC $5.5M deceptive-advertising settlement and a ~$2.5M protein-spiking class-action settlement covering MuscleTech/Six Star protein products (different products). Tribulus carries hepatotoxicity case reports.

This is something to take to a clinician. The Atlas can tell you what is known about test hd / test hd elite in general. It cannot tell you what is happening in your body, and the difference matters most for exactly the symptoms that bring people to this page.

Test HD and Test HD Elite are MuscleTech products (owned by Iovate Health Sciences; majority-acquired by China's Xiwang Foodstuffs in 2016). Test HD Elite is built around Tesnor (a pomegranate-peel + cocoa-seed extract) marketed as raising free and total testosterone, alongside KSM-66 ashwagandha, mucuna, rhodiola, tribulus, fenugreek, boron, Tongkat Ali and others. The clinical claim attaches to the Tesnor ingredient, not the finished product.

MuscleTech's testosterone line, anchored on the 'Tesnor' ingredient.

What people take it for

These are the reasons people give for taking it. They are not effects it has been shown to have.

  • Marketed for free + total testosterone, strength, muscle

What people get wrong

  • Often said'Clinically studied Tesnor' means Test HD is proven

ActuallyThe clinical data are on the Tesnor ingredient; the finished Test HD Elite formula was not tested as a product. (Note: Test HD is a MuscleTech product, not a BPI Sports product, despite frequent confusion.)
